About Mae Wellness Co.

Healing is not linear — and neither is your story.

I'm here to walk alongside you through the messy, tender, and transformative moments of becoming.

Mae Wellness Co. therapist

"You are worthy of care exactly as you are."

My story

The heart behind Mae

I’m Ashauntis, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina, Virginia, and Maine, and the founder of Mae Wellness Co. My work is rooted in creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow in ways that feel aligned with who they are. Mae Wellness Co. is named in honor of my grandmothers — women whose strength, softness, and wisdom shaped the way I show up in the world. Their legacy guides the heart of this practice: care that is warm, grounded, culturally attuned, and deeply human

As a Black woman therapist, I bring a culturally informed, identity‑affirming lens to my work. I understand the nuances of navigating systems, relationships, and expectations while holding multiple roles at once. In therapy, you don’t have to over‑explain or minimize your experience. I hold space for your full self — your clarity, your questions, your joy, your ambition, and your becoming.
